Food Banks
Bacup Family Centre no longer holds a food store we also only refer through to RAFT for families we are actively working with, unfortunately we do not have the admin time to make referrals for every one who enquires. Other agencies that can refer to RAFT include housing, citizens advice bureau, schools, support workers, job centre, GO If you need assistance with food provision there are the following available in the Rossendale area:
Trinity Baptist Church Bacup, - Breakfast club - Thursday mornings with a brew & butty free of charge and Rossendale Works are also in attendance.
Trinity Baptist Food bank. Friday evenings between 6 & 7pm (small charge of £2 if able)
Positive Start - Rawtenstall - Food share Fridays from 9.30am
There are a number of local food boxes if you follow Rossendale Food Box Scheme on Facebook there is a list of where to find them.
The Unity Fridge Food bank in Rawtenstall runs Mondays & Tuesdays 10am - 12pm.
